Artwork - Copy & Art Charges
Submission of the best available camera-ready art assures obtaining the best possible reproduction. Copy must be typewritten to avoid misinterpretation. Layout instructions with Pantone® color specifications must accompany all artwork. Photocopies are not considered artwork. Europa reserves the right to decide what is camera-ready artwork. If artwork requires touch-up or complete restoration, it is subject to an art charges @ $75 per hour.
Artwork - Computer Generated Art
Europa strongly encourages electronic artwork. The following formats are accepted: Adobe Illustrator or compatible EPS format or Photoshop (CMYK separated). All fonts and/or placed images used must either be included or have been converted to outlines. Scanned art must be at least 600 DPI or better. Files may be submitted on CD or by E-mail or may be uploaded to Europa’s FTP site.

A printout (or fax, if artwork is emailed or uploaded) of the layout must accompany the files. If artwork is not up to specifications, Europa reserves to right to refuse it. To avoid unnecessary delays please check with Europa prior to submitting computer art.
Artwork - Layout
Unless color-separated, camera-ready artwork has been submitted, Europa will confirm all imprint layouts prior to production. The artwork layout will either be faxed or can be viewed in full color on our Internet site. The layout must be signed off before production can commence.

Europa makes full use of the latest printing technologies to offer a variety of innovative customization options. For a complete list, please refer to the Custom Options & Upgrades Booklet.
Artwork - Imprint Area
The entire visible dial is the imprint area on all watches. In some cases, the band and optional packaging can also be imprinted or otherwise customized. Please refer to the Custom Options & Upgrades section in the catalog.
Artwork - Imprinting Colors
Standard imprint colors are listed throughout the catalog. Color matches must be specified in Pantone® (PMS) values.
Artwork - Imprinting Charges
Please see the Custom Options & Upgrades Booklet for respective charges, which vary depending on the imprint method. If no method is specified, Europa will decide which imprinting method will be used for the best possible reproduction on the item.
Artwork - Repeat Orders
If placed within one year of the original order for the same item, imprint and size repeat orders require a repeat setup charge, which varies depending on the imprint method.
Order Confirmations
All orders are acknowledged in writing (with prices and estimated shipping dates) within 48 hours of receipt. Please refer to the “ARTWORK - LAYOUT” section above for more details.
Cancellation & Changes
Europa will start production upon receipt of order and approval of artwork. Changes, including cancellations of orders, will be accepted only with the understanding that Europa will be reimbursed fully for any order processing or production costs incurred.
Hypo-Allergenic
To prevent allergic skin reactions, watches featured in this catalog are nickel free and all leather bands are PCP free. Our standard gold plating is 23/16 Karat, which complies with Swiss Standards. This applies to all gold models except economy models.
Speculative Samples
Cost is set up charge based on imprint method and EQP of the watch model. Once approved, a re-set up will apply. Please call Europa for details.
Paper Proofs
Paper proofs are faxed automatically with Order Confirmation at no additional charge.

Random Samples
Use end-quantity price (R). 30-day memo billing is available. Samples may be returned for full credit (excluding freight) within 30 days. Samples are shipped within 24 hours of receipt of order.
Minimums
Minimum quantity for most styles is 12 pieces. You cannot combine men's and ladies for overall quantity. A less than minimum charge will apply and varies depending on the watch models purchased.
Overruns
It is our policy to ship exact quantities. However, we reserve the right to over- or under-ship up to 5% of the quantity ordered.
Packaging
All Europa watches come with packaging that varies depending on the watch category. An extensive selection of packaging options is shown in the back of the Europa catalog.
Shipping
All orders are shipped FOB Los Angeles, California. Regular orders are sent via FedEx Express Saver or UPS Ground. Rush orders are sent via Federal Express Overnight or Two-Day service unless otherwise specified.
Drop Shipments
Drop shipments are available at an additional cost of $5.00 (X) per location. Addresses must be provided in a typed or printed list or in electronic form such as CD ROM, or can be sent by E-Mail.
Mailers
Mailers are shipped flat at a cost of $0.80 (V) or pre-packed with watches for $1.50 (V) per unit.
Repairs
Most repairs are effected within seven working days. Every effort is made to return repaired items with original imprints. Only in some rare cases will Europa ship replacements that are not imprinted.
Time Setting
All watches and clocks are set to Pacific Standard Time. Timepieces can be set to any time zone desired at an additional cost of $0.45 (V) per unit.
Limit Of Liability
All orders are subject to availability of manufacturing components. Europa cannot be liable for inability to ship due to shortage of components. To avoid unexpected problems on time-sensitive orders, please confirm availability with Europa prior to ordering.
Transit Damage
All claims resulting from transit damage or loss must be filed with the carrier by the consignee. While supplying all available information, legal responsibility passes from Europa to the customer when goods are consigned to a carrier.
Warranty
All timepieces are covered by Europa’s Warranty (for length of warranted period please check with our licensee in your territory) covering defects in material and workmanship under normal use. Bands and batteries are excluded.
Production Time
Standard production time for regular quantities of all items shown in the Europa catalog is 15-20 working days. Rush delivery is available for certain models and depends on imprint method(s), quantity and season.
Submitted Copy Usage
All copy or other material submitted by the customer for use by Europa in producing the item ordered therewith, will be accepted by us as being submitted in full compliance with all applicable laws regarding trademark, service mark, copyright, right of privacy, patent or similar protection.

The customer, by submitting such copy or other material, represents that the use thereof by Europa on the items ordered will not violate any such laws and Europa hereby disclaims any and all liability for compliance with such laws in the use of the customer’s copy or other material. The customer hereby agrees to hold us harmless for any damages, costs or other expenses when they arise under all such laws as a consequence of our use of said copy or other material or operations undertaken by the agreement.
